Almost a Year!

I can't believe it's been almost a year since I started this blog. I have enjoyed doing it--it's sort of like an easier way to scrapbook for me. In the spirit of documenting the many changes we have been through this year, I am FINALLY going to start posting pics of our house! First and foremost, Lily's room!!

We have also finally started doing some things to the baby's room to get ready--mostly consisting of trying to clear it out so that Bryan can prime the room. We did some moving around in Lily's room as well to get ready for baby--we took away her "baby" dresser and gave her this "big girl" dresser--the difference being that the baby dresser is the perfect height to also use as a changing table and though Lily is not yet completely potty-trained, I'm hoping we aren't too far from it. This dresser has been in her closet, but we moved it into the room and bought shelves for the closet instead. We also have to put new knobs on the dresser and I have something to hang on the wall about the dresser. We also have to put new doorknobs on the closet and the door. We have her big girl bed and bedding already and we have been debating and when to make the switch. I tried to talk to Lily about it this weekend by explaining that the bed Austin used when he came to visit is her big girl bed, but she shunned that idea by explaining to me that that was Austin's bed and she had her own bed, referring to her crib, so we'll see...we may not decide to make the switch anytime soon!
