A message to the other moms...
if you've ever wondered if other people's kids make giant messes in the playroom, too...the answer is...
No, not here. I have no idea what your talking about.

Our Visitor
This little guy walked right up to our window, scratched at it, looked in at us and didn't even run when we stood and stared back and took pictures of him. Please ignore the little hand print on the window.

Bryan is a dork.
There is no other way to title this post. It's okay. We love him for it. I know I'm a big dork, too. Anyway, he got the GEICO gecko costume mailed to our house because one of the body shops that his adjusters cover wanted to use it. It stayed here a while because GEICO forgot to mail the hands as well. So B put it on. A lot. At one point in time after the gloves had arrived, he put the full costume on and stood in our driveway waving at cars. A lot of our grouchy neighbors wouldn't even wave then, but most of them did. The girls obviously thought it was the coolest thing in the world!! Here he is wearing just the head and gloves.
The Greenville Birthday Party
We had Caroliney's first birthday party in Greenville at my parent's house all of the way back in February. We always have it there so that all of the family from North Carolina can see the girls without making the drive all of the way to Georgia. We had all 4 little girls (Lily, Anna, Allison, Caroliney) be the guests of honor. It was great fun!! We had a cupcake themed party and so we had 3 sizes of cupcakes that were decorated by Lils and D. I took all of the pictures with my dad's camera and just got them so that is why I'm a bit late putting them up.
The regular sized cupcakes.
Caroliney's big cupcake.
The mini cupcakes.
More regular sized cupcakes. These were the ones that the bigger girls had as their "birthday cakes" when we sang to them.
I made this wreath for the front door.
Some of the food and the topiary I made that matches the wreath on the front door. I found the tutorial on-line. It was more time-consuming than I had thought it would be, but it was worth it because I like the final product.
Austin and D.
Caroliney getting to enjoy her birthday cake. Except she didn't really eat any or enjoy herself very much at all. She had 2 raging ear infections that weren't being touched by her antibiotics. She was kind of miserable and clingy all day. Not how I wanted her to spend her first birthday...especially when she is such a happy baby normally.
Caroliney with Grandma.
Anna and Grandaddy.
Lily with Big Girl Anna. Lily thinks Big Girl Anna is so cool and so fun!! Well, she pretty much thinks that of all of the Greer children. Lily still had a cast on her leg in this picture, but you can't really tell under her baggy pants. She got around so great, even in person, it was hard to tell.
Bryan, Mary and David.
These are the people at the party that had a birthday in either February, March or April...by far the majority of the party!!
Caroliney with Grandaddy!! So sweet!
Caroliney with her Daddy...doing a Gecko impression!
Grandma Laura with her sisters from NC.
The cousins together.
The 2 Anna's!!
