What happens when you keep a little skeleton up after her bedtime?

Finally a smile!!!

Lily's School Halloween Party

Lily's class had a Halloween party this past week and Caroliney and I went to go celebrate with her.  They started the party with a party of all of the classes of kids...it was very cute!!

Caroliney waiting for the parade to start.

Lily's class--her teacher is in front dressed as a clown.

The star of the parade!!!
Then we went inside, ate lunch, played games and did crafts.  It was fun to get to see all of Lily's friends that she talks about a lot and meet some of their moms as well.
Lily's new trick or treat bag.

Lily hugging her teacher.  She loves her teacher a lot!!  I love that she loves her teacher!!

Getting her foot painted for the other side of the trick or treat bag...they made ghosts out of their footprints.

MOMS Club Trunk or Treat

Today we had the Trunk or Treat for the MOMS Club.  Because of the rain, it got moved inside.  Before we got there, Lily told me she didn't want to dress as Ariel...she wanted to be a Rainy Day Girl, meaning she wanted to wear her rain boots, rain coat and carry her umbrella.  She wanted to jump in the puddles.  Because this isn't my first rodeo, I knew that probably a few more 3 year old girls would be showing up as Ariel and my sweet girl would then want her Ariel dress.  So I brought it with me...just in case.  Sure enough, another little girl, named Anna, who Lily LOVES to play with, came as Ariel and Lily instantly wanted her Ariel dress.  So, she had a quick wardrobe change and she played for hours!!!  They had crafts, a bounce house, and a balloon artist.  At one point, after the Trick or Treat part, I had to leave the room to change Caroliney's diaper and from the other room, I heard chants of "I love my candy!!".  Can you guess who was singing that?!?  Lily and Anna, of course!  My crazy girl told me later that they tried to hide under a table so they could eat all of their candy without their moms finding them!!

Rainy Day Girl

Lily and Anna--The 2 Ariels.  Actually, there was a 3rd Ariel there as well!!

Fall Fair

This past weekend, we went to the Fall Fair at Lily's school.  It had games, crafts, face painting, a balloon artist--sort of the usual fall fair stuff, but we had a super fun time.

Lily's balloon Ariel--the balloon artist said he could do anything, but we were still quite impressed.

Pretty girl in a crown!!

Lily got a unicorn...but only because the face painters weren't quite as talented as the balloon artist.  She told Lily that's pretty much all she could do!!!

We have a crawler!!

Caroliney now knows how to crawl forward!!  But just a mere 4 days ago, she could only go backwards...here she is after backing herself under a table.

As I've said lots of time before, Caroliney loves Lily--she thinks Lily is the funniest person ever!!  Here, Lily was running around the house and Caroline was watching her, laughing hysterically!

Side note:  Please ignore the fact that in every picture, there is a giant mess in the background!!  Frequently we have toy explosions in this house!!

Halloween Baby (This time with Leg Warmers!!)

We've gotten a lot more into leg warmers with Caroliney than with Lily.  They are so much more available now--I actually got this pair in the dollar zone at Target!!  Whoo-hoo!

My little narcissistic baby loves to look at herself in the mirror!

Cody's 5 Birthday Party

Wonder Woman!!!!
On Sunday, we went to cousin Cody's 5th birthday party.  I didn't know until Sunday morning that it was a costume party, but as I've said, we have plenty of those around this house.  Lily decided to be Wonder Woman, and I put Caroliney's bee costume on her.  They both looked adorable.  Lily had a great time hanging with the cousins, as she always does.

Like the Black Eyed Peas, Caroline is a Bee!!  :)

They dress me up and laugh at me, too.  Let's be friends.

Drinking her nectar.

Lily and her Mimi have a very special bond.  Lily loves Mimi a lot!

Noah after eating dirt cake.  Yum!!

Eli's awesome stripped hair.

5 cousins.

She's crafty!!

My little Bee got so tired at the party and feel asleep on the way home.  I didn't want to attempt a transfer, so I unbuckled her car seat and let her sleep in the car a minute.  She got herself in this position and slept like this until I woke her up.  Who could sleep like this?!?

The Pumpkin Patch

Lily and Daddy on the wagon ride--Love this pic!!!  Lily looks so happy!!
Mommy and the girls on the wagon ride...last year's picture was me and Lily and my big ole pregnant belly.

The girls and the pumpkins...

This is what happens when an 8 month old eats mulch!!

We had a great time at the Pumpkin Patch again this year.  The warmer temps made it a little more crowded than last year when we had to bundle up so much, but it still didn't have too big of a crowd.  Lily loves the wagon ride and picking out little pumpkins for every member of the family.

Getting Ready for Halloween

Lily truly is her Mommy's daughter and she LOVES Halloween.  Lily is in school a few days a week, which she also loves.  She got lots of good friends in her class and loves her teacher.  She says lots of funny things and keeps us laughing.  It amazes us how fast she is growing up.  Just last year, Lily was a "prince-a" for Halloween because she didn't say princess right.  This year, she is going to Ariel and she says almost no words wrong.
