Picture People Photo Shoot

I took the girls in to have their pictures taken for the Christmas card.  I had wanted this year to use a different photographer so that the pictures could be a little more natural and candid.  However, as it seems to happen a lot, time was getting away from me and I went ahead and did Picture People again b/c I could get in right away.  I am happy with the pictures though the experience in the store was pretty awful.  Here are some of the pictures that didn't make the Christmas card.  

Thanksgiving Sing-along at School

Every year, Lily, and now Caroliney's, school does a super cute sing-along for Thanksgiving.  This year, Lily sang along to all of the songs and had a great time.  Caroliney just sat on her teacher's lap taking it all in.  I brought the worst camera ever with me, so please excuse the horrible quality of these pictures, and yes, the date on them is WAY wrong.

Meeting Santa

The girls sat on Santa's lap WAY before Thanksgiving--we went at the beginning of November when there was no line at all!  We only sat on Santa's lap b/c Lily really wanted to.  She's always been afraid of him, but once I told her that the mall Santa wasn't the REAL Santa--he was just a man, like Daddy, who helped Santa out, she was interested in sitting on his lap.  So, we took them and it went well.

Lily had a great first soccer season!  She had a rough start, but ended up scoring 4 goals total and wants to play again in the spring.  

Other Halloween Activities...

So clearly I am not going in order here, as both of these things were BEFORE Halloween, but bear with me as I try to get everything all caught up!

Caroliney at the MOMS Club Trunk or Treat.  She sat in her pink car pretty much the whole time and tried to beat any other kids who wanted to use it.  Sweet little Caroliney!  :)

Halloween!

Our friend, Robin, and her 2 girls came up to go Trick or Treating with us.  We had lots of fun!  We ended up coming home early from Trick or Treating to pass out candy.  The girls had more fun doing that then actually Trick or Treating.  Lily even gave out her own candy when we ran out of what we bought.  Here are the girls before heading out.  Lily and Caroliney were both cupcakes, but Lily was not wearing her costume here.

Playing Catch-Up

I plan to TRY to blog every single day in December...well, every day until Christmas, that is.  So, I am getting all caught up today to get ready for my Bloggy Days.  So, I bring you....

CARVING PUMPKINS!  We actually decorated pumpkins on multiple occasions, but this is the only time that all 4 of us were present.  The girls and Bryan carved an Ariel pumpkin one day while I was at work.  The girls and I decorated pumpkins with stickers, glue, acorns, pom-poms, gems, etc one day while B was at work.  And then we all carved 2 more pumpkins together, which is what these pictures are of.
