Kennesaw Pigs and Peaches Festival

Last night, we went to the Kennesaw BBQ Festival--it was a perfect evening! I'm sort of a festival snob and frequently complain about festivals in Atlanta because they tend to get insanely crowded and parking is just terrible. However, last night was great--we got to park really close and it wasn't overly crowded at all. We had such a good time and even ran into Lily's cousin's Ashley and Bubba there. We enjoyed festival food and watching the helicopter rides. Lily loved playing in the bouncy house and I loved that she is now old enough to get in there and have fun by herself.

Lily walking along--she was amazed that one of the vendor's had a "wobbly-man" right on top of his booth. She loved frozen lemonade!!

Lily and Daddy riding on the train--despite the look she is giving me for taking her picture, she really loved the train.

Lily liked the giraffe enough to get a necklace from him...

but not enough to actually touch him. I love that she is looking at his hand like "Are you kidding me?!?"

I've already addressed in a post how much Lily loves pony rides and last night was no exception. She went around twice and thought it was so much super fun!!! Her horse's name was Lady, which she thought was great because she's very into saying who is a lady and who is a man right now.

Lily got her hair sprayed pink and blue. She thought it was so cool. I have a mirror hung in her room low enough that she can look in it. She frequently puts on my high heels or "high shoes" as she calls them and goes to check herself out in her mirror. Last night, when we got home, the very first thing she did was go to her room and check out her hair. She did not want me to even wash her hair last night! Such a funny girl!
