Well, by now, she's actually 13 months. We had her first b-day at my parent's house in SC again this year so that the family from NC can come to it as well. It was a wonderful, beautiful day. I only took pictures on my dad's camera, but as soon as they are back from NM, I'll make my dad email me the pictures, so I can post them here. I just took C to her 1 year check-up on March 1st. Oops. I'm apparently behind in more areas than just blogging. She is 30 1/4 inches long, which is the 77 percentile. She weighs 22 pounds and .5 ounces which is only 59 percentile and her head is 18 1/4 cm circumference which is 80 percentile. Her weight gain has definitely slowed down. I don't remember exactly what her 9 month stats were, but I don't think she weighed much less than she does now. She is not walking yet, but does cruise on furniture and can walk holding onto just one finger of ours. She says a few words: Hi, Hiya, Hey, Hello, Uh-Oh, Daddy, BRYAN!!, and Mum Mum. She will sort of cry/whine MaMa when she is upset, but I'm not convinced she is actually referring to me yet. She is still laid back a lot of the time, but definitely knows what she wants and how to express it. She is very much a believer in equal rights for babies and never wants to feel left out or that she is getting slighted. Sometimes she freaks me out with how much she seems to understand. She is off the bottle completely and off formula completely. She is FINALLY just getting over her first ear infection--it seems like the 3rd antibiotic they tried finally worked.
Lily got her cast off for good on Valentine's Day. We have to go back in 6 months for one more x-ray due to the type of fracture she had, but I'm sure everything will be okay. She is still loving school, but really looking forward to the summer--the beach trip and the pool specifically. Oh, and obviously, very excited about her upcoming birthday party!!
We are doing some projects around the house. We are getting new garage doors this week as ours are both completely broken and it would cost almost as much to fix them as it would to get new ones. We also ripped up the girls' bathroom on a whim, so soon we will be shopping for tile and vanities and sinks!!
Bryan and I just celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary!! We didn't get to have a date night or anything, but we did take the girls out for hibachi, which they enjoy b/c of all of the chef's tricks.
That's about it for the updates!!! Adios!
